The old road winds through the countryside With twists and turns, it cannot hide The stories of the past it carries Of wagons, horses, and carriages.
The stones beneath my feet are worn By the footsteps of those who have gone Before me, seeking fortune or love Their dreams carried on wings of a dove.
The trees that line the path Stand tall, majestic, and steadfast Witnessing the passage of time As the road weaves its way in rhyme.
The old road's melody is sweet A symphony of nature's beat Whispers of the wind, birds' song Together, they make the journey long.
On this old road, I find peace A moment to let my worries cease And as I walk, I feel alive With every step, I thrive.
So let me travel this old road With its beauty, history, and ode To the souls who have come and gone And left their legacy to carry on.
